The year is 2010. Apart from the traditional resolutions of not being lazy, having more patience et cetera, I also declared this year "The Adventure". Primarily, this is because I have no idea where I'd be at the end of the year. For the first time in my life, there is no "exam that I know I would have completed" or "school that I would be admitted into". I can be anywhere on earth by the last day of 2010. And that is what excites me, cos I can't wait to live it through and discover where I will be, who i will meet - new friends, new lovers. The possibilities are endless. And as I put my capabilities and personality to the test, I invite you to travel with me through this adventure and observe, as I live out the new decade.

been really caught up with things these days that i havent had the time to blog. many things have happened but now that i can blog, its quite hard to list them all down. so here's a quick update just so i can keep track on my life.on sunday, delilah got baptised. on monday we sent her for her hep b jab.and yesterday, wednesday, we had family day! mainly cos i had the stupid wart appointment so we decided to bring her out as well. after the appointment we walked around orchard. brought her out to see the world but most of the time she was sleeping. -_-. but it was fun having pit stops to feed and change her. hahax.and fox is becoming my fav line. yeah my clothes are increasingly coming from there. topshop just bores me nowadays.maybe i'll post some pics later. (=

today was another day at home with the family. delilah's really growing up. today she drank 4 ounces of milk straight. she's also getting more naughty, and also learning fast. (=
martin and i played facebook in between nappy changes and feeding, and in the evening we finally sat down and watched a movie with lays and famous amos. how to lose weight like that?
it was fun. i love my family. delilah's here next to me now on my bed... she's rather active and cranky. i'm hoping she goes to sleep soon... so i can get some uninterupted time.... when's baby gonna call?
anyways lets talk about yesterday, sunday, cos it was a rather special one. it was delilah's first outing to church - and also to anywhere else besides the doctor. so we dressed her all up in pink and brought her to church.
reached church late though, but i guess that's cos it was our first outing and it took time to get everything packed and prepared without any prior experience. furthermore, it didnt help that it was raining heavily. yes i love the rain A LOT! but it was just the wrong day to rain, when we needed to go out. all those days when we were home we were burning in the heat. -_-.
met a few friends who thought the baby was cute... (: she was such a good girl during mass. didnt cry at all. just slept through. then after mass while we were walking out we had the shock of our lives. saw both our cathecism teachers, who were both damn shocked to see me with delilah. gosh... i felt like i totally disappointed them especially when one looked teary. but i knew she was being supportive especially when she promised to help if i ever needed it.
then we took a stroll to tm. we had nowhere in mind to go with delilah. tm and century sq were the only places with nursing rooms where both mom and dad could enter. seriously the other places with changing places only in the female toilet is so retarded and sexist. why is it that the mother must change? what if its a single dad? and its like implying that mothers should do everything and not the father. so retarded.
had lunch at a non crowded place at century sq, and once again delilah drew many smiles. after that, we totally had no idea where to go. both malls suck at the mean time. both are undergoing renovations so there are hardly any good shops around.
so in the end it was decided that we were to go over to martin's place to watch movies after renting dvds from loyang point.
and that's what we did till evening. then we as a family took another walk to buy dinner and ate at my place.
previously on saturday, martin and i finally went out after like forever. reason for us being able to do so, delilah went over to stay at his place for a day. so not wanting to go too far, we went to tm. walked and walked and walked.... it was fun spending time together.
wanted to watch a movie but all the shows SUCK. so in the end we ended up looking for clothes. saw quite a number of nice stuff but i didnt want to buy all cos i felt bad. in the end, martin bought me tops from levi's. (= wanted to buy jeans but once again was disappointed by the options.

today was the day of the skin checkup thing. ughs. the procedure was painful! i quote martin, "Aiyah! this one not pain lah! you can give birth this one nothing lah!"

so not true.
first the lady scrapped the wart then sprayed the stupid liquid nitrogen on it like a thousand times.
ok maybe that's a big exaggeration. like maybe around 9 times on each of the 2 fingers.
but each spray was darn painful ok. and martin, asking me to choose between contractions or this is NOT comforting. pain is pain. no matter how much. i hate pain, as you guys can see from my wishlist.
on the bright side, the lady was nice. in fact everyone at the national skin centre were nice. nicer than the overall attitude at kk. she like joke with me all... and even sprayed martin's finger for fun just cause he was acting all gungho and wanted to show me it was not pain.
also he thought it was rather cool.

well before the appointment, we went to orchard. i wanted to buy a new pair of jeans. but nothing of levi's caught my attention! the new copper sucks. but the rest were all so ewwish. you know nowadays i've been window shopping a lot and its been pissing me off cos nothing's nice. yeah it seems like the autumn lines of every brand suck. and now, my trusty levi's has also let me down.
k parents back. i'm gonna bathe now. like finally.
whoops. cant bathe. wearing that stupid tight thing round me.
guess i gotta make do with a washup.
omg! i cant! grey's anatomy starts in like 5 mins! gotta wait an hour i guess.

once again, i cant breathe.
today was the 2nd day of the massage therapy and the stupid corsety thing that i have to wear is tighter than yesterday. and yesterday's tightness was to the point i thought i broke my my last rib. but nevermind. no pain no gain.
not that my conquest to watch my weight will be successful anyway. martin's all determined to make me as fat as stupid avril. oh wells. but i think taking care of del's enough exercise.
i'm getting a headache. i dont know why.
whoops phone call.
k that was martin. he's coming down now. and later i gotta go to that skin centre. yuck. but at least i'll finally be getting out of pasir ris. nowadays our outings are like only to nearby shops and the doc. when del's bigger, we can go out. (:

elloies. today i went to the doc's in e morning for some skin rash that suddenly erupted when delilah was born... at the same time went to check about this thing on my finger that's been there for years. turns out its some sick wart and now i gotta go to the skin centre to treat it. -_-
grossed out right? ==had to pause here to feed del== yeah i dont know why i can even blog about it. but oh wells.
so today was spent at home again. had an afternoon nap that i so deserved. (woke up damn early) then hanged out with martin... we tried to start a facebook account but didnt manage to totally finish it cos del's in a total cranky mood today. yup actually decided to start one. i mean like its everywhere... for weeks. first it started with ppl adding me on their accounts... received bountyfull emails. then newspapers started publishing articles about it... talking about how yahoo was thinking of buying the network... so like since we were so bored when del was asleep, we decided to start a family account. (=
but it isnt done yet.
